You need to be paranoid to survive in business.
Always have a plan B and C and D.
Make sure you can’t fail.
But surviving is not everything.
You want to succeed. To win.
To win, you need to trust.
You simple can’t come first all by yourself.
At some point you have to open yourself up and trust others. Partners, clients, shareholders, staff.
You need them if you’re going to do more than survive.
You need to trust if you are going to win.
Be paranoid to survive. Be trusting to win.
