Whoever controls the gold, controls. It’s a fact of life.

If you don’t want to follow someone else’s rules, then you need to have your own gold to make your own rules.

Earning a salary your entire life will rarely lead to enough gold to make the rules.

Starting your own business doesn’t mean you make your own rules. It’s just the first step down the path of freedom.

Until your business is making lots of money, you will still be beholden to “he who has the gold”, ie: your clients, or your shareholders.

But at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

That light is a pot of gold.

He who has the gold, makes the rules.
