Pretend you’re a dog tied by a long rope to the back of a donkey cart. You can dig your legs in, bark your head off, do anything you like, but the donkey cart will drag you forward.

You can’t stop the donkey cart.

What you can do is enjoy the ride. Run around, sniff the trees, take a leak on the wheel. Be industrious.

You are the dog, the donkey cart is the universe.

Work as hard as you can, have fun, but ultimately you must accept that, in your business, what will happen will happen.

You have to roll with the punches and make the most of it.
