Either you can try find your life’s work, or you can make it easy for your life’s work to find you. Here are four ways for the latter:

  1. Get married. Marriage lets you focus.
  2. Start waking up at 5am every day. You can achieve more if you wake up early, especially if you have nothing to do. Boredom always results in innovation.
  3. Live a simple life so you can save money and have the freedom to take risks.
  4. Grow your network. “Its not what you know, its who you know.”

The only shortcuts to the freedom to chase your dreams is being born into a well-off family (outside of your control), or marrying rich (if you marry for money you’ll be unhappy your whole life).

So make do with what you have, get married, wake up early, live a simple life, and grow your network.

Your life’s work will find you.
