True leaders fail

  • By Alan Knott-Craig

A true leader is other-centered.

You’re not solely focused on yourself, and your company, and your profits and your status.

Your priority is serving others.

Being kind and helpful.

Being unselfish.

It’s not easy getting to this place.

For most people, the only way is to fail, epically.

Once you’ve been knocked down, you reassess your life goals, and you realise money, status, power are not enough.

You stop listening to your ego and you start listening to a higher calling.

That calling is serving other people in some way.

From that point on, people will follow you.

To get there, your ego must be battered.

You need to be knocked down.

True leaders fail.
