Three daily reminders about people

  • By Alan Knott-Craig

As easy is it is to get into the habit of not liking people, it gets you nowhere.

If a habit takes you nowhere, don’t do it.

Rather wake up every day with these reminders:

  1. Don’t take it personally – Stuff happens. Its random. When someone does something that negatively affects you, be cool. It’s not personal.
  2. Soften your gaze – Consciously “soften” your gaze when you look at other people. Try put yourself in his shoes, imagine living his life.
  3. No one is out to get you – Don’t be paranoid about other people’s intentions. The world is too busy to be thinking about how to hurt you.

Get into the habit of not disliking people. Better yet, start liking everybody.

You’ll attract more people, and sales, and you’ll be a happier person.
