But patience is also key.

If you’re racing around too much, you may just miss what you’re looking for.

Patience means having the power to sit still when there is nothing to do but wait.

For example, when looking for a spot in a crowded parking lot, it doesn’t make sense to race around. Rushing doesn’t increase your odds of finding a spot.

Waiting for a granny to push her trolley across the road is ok.

Just as she’s out the way, an unnoticed car on your left reverses out of his spot and voila: You have a spot.

If you hadn’t patiently waited for the granny on your right, you wouldn’t have found the parking spot on your left.
