Business is not about finding the people you can trust.
It’s about finding the people you can’t trust.
It’s about whittling down the crowd to a small group of people that won’t screw you.
The only way to do that is to make yourself vulnerable.
Do it in a small way. Then when someone takes advantage, it won’t kill you.
You can add a name to your list and stay away from him (and his crowd) in future business dealings.
You’ll never find the crooks if you have no cracks in your armour.
If you can’t find the crooks, you’ll never be able to differentiate between them and the people you can trust.
If you can’t trust, you can’t win.
Flush out the crooks.
