Entrepreneurs write every day

Write every day. Preferably on a public forum, like a blog, where people can see it. Public writing forces you to think carefully before you publish, it gives you feedback, and it helps other people.

Not only that, the habit of daily writing has the following benefits:

  1. Makes you more observant

If you know you have to write something every day, you will start opening your eyes to the world around you. The desperation for content will make you pay attention to opportunities that’s previously passed unnoticed like a ship in the night.

  1. Forces you to clearly articulate your thinking

It’s easy to talk a good game. Writing is what separates the fuzzy heads from the clear thinkers. Writing forces you to be clear. If you can’t think clearly, you can’t be an entrepreneur.

  1. Helps you reflect on lessons learnt

In your constant search for content, you’ll start reflecting on your personal entrepreneurial experiences and the lessons you can extract. By writing of those lessons you increase your odds of never making the same mistakes.

Write every day.
