“I tried my best” is a line for the corporate world. It’s a line for a world where someone will bail you out, where you can use excuses to cover failure, where you can blame others, where you don’t need to worry about your paycheque.
Entrepreneurs don’t live in that world. Entrepreneurs know that “try” is a meaningless verb.
To paraphrase Yoda: “There is no try. There is only do. Or there is die.”
Entrepreneurs fight for every mile. They claw for every inch. They never give up. Why? Because entrepreneurs know there is no bail-out.
No one to catch them. No plan B. Entrepreneurs know that there is only one way to survive and thrive.
That way is to do, not to try.
