Its easy to hurt people. Especially when you’re in a position of power and immune to counter-attack.

Some people get a kick out of screwing suppliers and publicly firing staff.

But what’s the point? Why make someone look bad? Why attack someone’s sense of self-worth? Why hurt his feelings?

Its your ego. Its your own insecurities that make you hurt people.

Entrepreneurs don’t hurt people.

If you need to pass on bad news, be gentle. No need to hurt his feelings. Sugar-coat the raw truth.

You never know, as powerful as you are, maybe one day the shoe is on the other foot.

That’s when you’ll find out whether what goes around comes around.

In the meantime give others a fair shake, especially those with less than you.
