Entrepreneurs don’t diss dumb ideas

We forget that some of the best ideas started out as ludicrous. Especially if you’re smart.

Intelligent people are the leading cause of death for good ideas. The favourite use of brains is explaining with eloquence and unassailable logic why other people’s ideas will not work.

Boom! There goes another potential billionaire dollar product. All because we’re afraid to “think dumb”.

Generally speaking, the best ideas are the dumbest. The worst ideas are the smartest.

If you want your business to innovate, dominate and smash the competition, then you need to be entertaining and encouraging dumb ideas.

That starts with not dissing ideas. If your people don’t feel comfortable tabling dumb ideas, they won’t.

And you won’t find the next big thing.
