Vision-cast.

The leader must regularly communicate a vision that takes his team’s attention away from their current travails, and gives them something to aim for. A picture of the future that creates hope and reenergises the team.

Its important in good times, but doubly important in bad times. Your team need to know where they’re going, otherwise they won’t take you there.
