Some people never commit.

You know the type. Ask him whether he’s in and its always “maybe”, or “I’ll see”, or “Check with me closer to time”

These folk can be friends, but they can’t be business partners.

Business partners must be relied upon. You need to know the guy is there. That he’s committed.

When you raise the flag you can’t find he’s deserted his post.

Go ahead and be friends with footloose and fancy-free people, but don’t rely on them.

Don’t bring them into your business.

Success requires commitment.

Unless he’s willing to put a ring on your finger, he’s not committed. He’s keeping his options open.

Beware people that keep their options open.
