Five people don’t require much time, skill or experience as a manager.
Five hundred people requires professionalism as a manager.
Its a different job.
That’s why the guy in your startup that successfully manages product when he has just five staff, is probably going to diminish in his effectiveness as your business grows.
It just is what it is.
Play horses for courses.
When a business grows, some people don’t grow.
Replace them or fail.
A product manager for 5 people is not the same as 500 people
