Sometimes you and your team simply are not as skilled as the competition.
Don’t despair, you don’t need to be the most skilled.
Compare to basketball:
The “full court press” is a much maligned strategy used by average teams to beat star teams.
It means applying pressure over the entire court, giving the opposition no time on the ball and no space to show their skills.
“Full court press” requires a lot of work but very little actual skill.
This favors the unskilled teams over the skilled teams.
Applying relentless pressure over the entire playing surface, neutralizes the skill advantage of a superior opponent.
This means being fitter and working harder.
If your team is not the most skilled, don’t panic.
Work ethic can compensate for skill.
Work harder than the competition.
