Some experts will encourage you to burn your boats so that you can move forward knowing you have no plan B.
It can be good advice, but for some people it’s even more scary and causes them to freeze, or panic, or make irrational decisions.
Sometimes it’s a lot easier to be brave if you have a plan B, plan C, plan D.
It doesn’t make you work less hard for plan A, but it does take away from gnawing fear of “what if this doesn’t work.”
You’ll make better decisions without that fear, you’ll be more courageous, and you’re more likely to make plan A work
It’s a lot easier to be brave when you have more than one option.
