In the Godfather (b00k), Don Corleone always wants to know whether his target is a “Sicilian.”

What he means is: Is he unafraid of losing everything?

The Don knows there is not much he can do against a fearless opponent.

But once he’s found what the opposition fears losing, he can exploit it to get what he wants.

Make sure you overcome your fears of losing money/face/friends/whatever.

Otherwise the opposition will take advantage and beat you.
