Hang in there. Wait for the other guy to make a mistake

Steven Bradbury is an Australian that one the gold medal for speed skating at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in 2002.

Australia + speed skating is generally not a gold medal combination.

How did he do it?

He managed to qualify for the final thanks to his competitors being injured in the semi’s. He got really lucky.

But no one gave him odds to win the final.

The race played out as expected, with Steven bringing up the back going into the final lap.

On the final turn, the leading pack of four skaters collided with each other, allowing Steven to sneak past and win the race.

The same applies to business.

Sometimes you know the other guy is better than you and should win.

But don’t panic. Hang in there.

Wait for him to make a mistake, and BOOM! take the gap.
