Jim Rohn once said, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”

Which means you must choose your friends carefully. They will either drag you down or make you a better person.

Most people only get to choose friends when they’re 18-years-old, after you leave school.

Until then your friends are the people you were lumped together with in grade 1 (aged 6), or grade 7 (aged 13). What did you know about life then?

The important stuff at school is popularity and pimples. So you try to find friends that will help you with popularity and pimples.

These friends won’t make you a better person.

Entrepreneurs are always upping their game. The way to up your game is to make friends with people that make you a better person.

Choose your friends carefully.
