Don’t criticize your competition

  • By Alan Knott-Craig

It’s tempting to badmouth someone you don’t like. Especially if he’s your competitor, or better yet, he’s somehow wronged you in the past.

Satisfying in the short term, achieves nothing in the long term. Other than make you look like the type of person that speaks badly behind people’s backs.

No one trusts a skinner-bek.

Rather steer clear of criticising your enemy. Take the moral high-ground.

If he really is a baddie, then someone else will tell the world.

If he isn’t a baddie, then you’ll regret your words.

If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything.
