The logic of consequences is simply this: thinking through all he consequences of your actions.

Beware it.

This path will always result in reasons to not take risk. 

If you never take risk, you’ll never get anywhere.

Rather follow the logic of appropriateness.

What would a person like me do in this situation?

Example: You see a bully picking on a nerd. If you follow logic of consequences you stay out of it because you can see an outcome where you get beaten up too. The logic of appropriateness, on the other hand, will make you step in and calm things down.

The former action makes you a coward.

The latter makes you a role model.
