One of the dangers of finding early success in life is that you can think you just got lucky.
That you didn’t deserve the glory or the riches.
This is called Imposter Syndrome: the feeling that you’re not the real deal.
The symptoms are vanity and showing off.
Because you don’t feel you deserve what you have, you go out of your way to try and show the world that you do.
Buy a fancy car. Live in a fancy house. Tell everyone what a hero you are.
Trying. Too. Hard.
Don’t do it.
Everyone in the world that found success got lucky along the way.
It’s nothing to be ashamed of. You don’t have to prove yourself to anyone.
If you’re uncertain in your own heart whether you’re the real deal, there’s only one way to find peace.
Find success again.
Once is a fluke. Twice is a trend.
