A happy culture is the greatest motivator

  • By Alan Knott-Craig

For most people, looking forward to work is the most important factor in wanting to work for a company.

So, if you want to be an employer of choice you need to create a happy culture.

That means recruiting positive people, expelling corporate psychopaths, and cultivating an environment where people feel cared for.

It also means trusting the leadership, ie: you.

If you want people to trust you then you need to be honest, you need to be smart (folks need to trust you know what you’re doing), and you need to lead by example (if you want your team to work hard, you need to work harder).

That’s how you create a happy culture.

A happy culture is how you motivate and retain most of your people.
