- Find mentors that can show you it’s possible to succeed.
- Work hard. The harder you work the more lucky you will get, and the easier it will be to be an optimist
- Count your blessings. Look on the bright side of life. Always find the silver lining.
- Surround yourself with optimistic and positive people. Don’t read the news.
- Smile. Smiling triggers optimism in your subconscious brain. Frowing triggers pessimism.
- Visualise positive outcomes. Lie in bed and replay all the good things you’ve done. Edit the bad outcomes into good shots. Rewrite history! Do not dwell on what has gone wrong in your life.
- Believe. Optimism is an act of faith. A belief in something that can’t be proven. You have to let yourself belief in a positive future.
