Have you promised something, been paid for it, but under-delivered?
Maybe you said you’d give the customer 1,000 oranges.
The customer took the shipment without checking, and he paid.
You subsequently realise you only delivered 950 oranges.
You have two choices: Hope the customer never finds out.
Or own up, and make good on your initial promise.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out which choice results in easy sleeping and loyal customers.
