Would you rather be an oak tree, or bamboo?

Most people choose oak. Its beautiful and solid and sturdy and long-lived.

The problem is that an oak tree will eventually be blown over by the wind, snapped at the trunk.

Bamboo might not be regal, but it cannot be blown over.

It bends with the wind, sways and moves and doesn’t give enough resistance for the wind to win.

Which would you rather be? Oak or bamboo?
