As the boss, you’re the judge, jury and executioner.

When someone steps out of line, you have to discipline her.

You must provide justice, but as a corrective, and as an example for others to not walk the same path.

Just remember: Justice is not only the way you punish those who do wrong.

It is also the way you try to save them.

If the punishment doesn’t also make the wrongdoer a better person, you’ve failed as a boss.

Discipline is not only punishment.
