Cross the bridge when you get there

  • By Alan Knott-Craig

You can see a problem ahead of you. An obstacle. A bridge to cross.

If you’re not careful, it will distract you from the task at hand.

If you’re distracted, you risk never reaching the bridge.

What’s the point of worrying about a problem that is not yet in front of you?

Don’t worry too much about all the obstacles ahead.

Keep your attention focused on the task at hand.

Occasionally look up to make sure you’re on track for your final destination, but don’t be distracted by all the steps between you and your goal.

Head down, one step at a time.

Cross the bridge when you get there.
